We get questions from people asking about what we eat throughout the week. So we decided to write it down and share in case you were wondering too.
This week we were able to enjoy some fresh cherries from another farmer’s market vendor. They were delicious as a snack, in our breakfasts and in raw milk ice cream.
Speaking of ice cream, we fixed cherry chocolate chip, pineapple, chocolate and vanilla ice cream this week. This ice cream machine makes it easy to have ice cream often, since there’s no pre-freezing the bowl or ice required.

While most of the items are homegrown and home raised, you can see we do eat out on occasion! What we aren’t able to grow on the acreage, we are happy to buy from other producers (hello, cherries!) or shop at Azure Standard. Azure Standard is a bulk organic food source that has drop off points all over the USA. We pick up our order at a truck stop once per month.
Having bulk grains, like the steel cut oats, make for a hearty breakfast full of high quality ingredients.
